The open competitive group was formed in 2006 for those CLRA members interested in racing who are not eligible for one of the scholastic programs. Since then, the team has performed well at many regattas and has brought home multiple medals and trophies. Anyone interested in training hard and traveling to regattas is welcome.
There are no tryouts for this program but attendance at practices is required once you are assigned a seat in a boat. The program is open to any full member of the CLRA including Open and Masters level rowers.
If you are interested, contact one of the two coaches to join an existing boat, or create your own and suggest a practice time!
